FUE Hair Transplant
Follicles are extracted one by one with a micro-punch — no stitches, no linear scar and quick healing.
Learn morePermanent, natural-looking hair with advanced FUE and DHI techniques — a hairline designed for your face by our doctor-led team in RDC, Raj Nagar.
Hair loss can change how you see yourself. A hair transplant moves healthy, DHT-resistant hair follicles from the back and sides of your scalp (the donor area) to areas that are thinning or bald. Because these follicles keep their original nature, the transplanted hair is permanent — it grows, can be cut and styled just like the rest of your hair.
At SOZO Hair Transplant Clinic in Ghaziabad we use two modern, stitch-free techniques: FUE (Follicular Unit Extraction) and DHI (Direct Hair Implantation). Every procedure begins with a detailed scalp and donor analysis, then a hairline designed for your age, face shape and future hair-loss pattern.
The procedure is done under local anaesthesia in a sterile procedure room. Most patients go home the same day and return to desk work within 3–5 days. Supportive PRP or GFC therapy can be added to protect your existing hair and speed up healing.

Both techniques take individual follicles from your donor area and give permanent, natural-looking results. The difference is in how the grafts are placed. Your doctor will recommend one — or a combination — after examining your scalp.
| FUE Hair Transplant | DHI Hair Transplant | |
|---|---|---|
| How grafts are placed | Tiny channels are made first, then grafts are placed into them | Grafts are loaded into an implanter pen and placed directly — channel and placement in one step |
| Best suited for | Medium to large areas, crown and advanced hair loss | Hairline, temples, small areas and adding density between existing hair |
| Grafts in one session | Higher — suitable for larger sessions | Usually fewer per session, as each graft is placed individually |
| Shaving | Donor and recipient areas are usually trimmed | Recipient area can often stay unshaven for small areas |
| Density & angle control | Excellent in experienced hands | Very precise depth, angle and direction control |
| Scars | No stitches, no linear scar — tiny dots that hide in hair | No stitches, no linear scar — tiny dots that hide in hair |
| Cost | More economical for large sessions | Usually costs more due to the time and instruments involved |
Scalp and donor analysis, hair-loss grade and a personal graft plan.
Your new hairline is drawn and agreed with you before we begin.
Follicles are extracted and implanted with FUE or DHI under local anaesthesia.
Clear post-op instructions, first wash, follow-ups and PRP/GFC support if advised.
Hair grows slowly — here is what most patients can expect month by month.
Tiny crusts form around the grafts and fall off within about 10 days.
Transplanted hairs shed — this is normal. The roots stay safe under the skin.
Fine new hair starts to appear and slowly thickens.
Most patients see a clear difference in coverage and density.

The cost depends mainly on the number of grafts you need, the technique (FUE or DHI) and your grade of hair loss. At SOZO you get a clear, graft-based estimate after a scalp analysis — see our hair transplant cost guide for the factors involved.
Yes. Follicles taken from the donor area are naturally resistant to DHT, the hormone behind pattern baldness, so they keep growing after being transplanted. Your existing non-transplanted hair may still thin with time, which is why your doctor may suggest supportive treatment.
Neither is better for everyone. FUE is ideal for larger areas and bigger sessions; DHI gives very precise placement for hairlines and adding density between existing hair. Many patients benefit from a combination. Your doctor will advise after examining your scalp.
It is done under local anaesthesia, so you feel little more than the initial injections. Most patients relax, listen to music or watch something during the procedure.
Transplanted hair usually sheds in the first few weeks — this is normal. New growth starts around 3–4 months, and the final result is visible at about 9–12 months.
Yes, when the hairline is designed properly. We plan the shape, angle and direction of every graft to match your natural hair, using single-hair grafts at the front for a soft, undetectable hairline.
Yes — women with a widening partition, high forehead or localised thinning can be good candidates. A proper evaluation is done first to rule out medical causes of hair loss such as thyroid or iron deficiency.
